The consortium of ADAMIETZ Warszawa and Adamietz has signed an agreement with the Palace of Culture and Science for the modernization of the Congress Hall. Representing the companies, Wojciech Gerber, Agnieszka Galewska, and the President of Adamietz Sp. z o.o., Rajmund Adamietz, all signed the contract. The event was given additional significance by the presence of President Rafał Trzaskowski, who, along with the President of the Board of the Palace of Culture and Science, Rafał Krzemień, co-signed the construction agreement.
The work, valued at over 393 million PLN, will involve the comprehensive modernization of the Congress Hall, including its technical, sanitary, conference, and catering facilities. It will also feature a state-of-the-art electroacoustic infrastructure. The entire building will be adapted to comply with current fire safety and sanitary regulations. Additionally, it will be renovated to meet the needs of people with disabilities, in full accordance with the guidelines of the heritage conservator.
This modernization of one of Poland’s most iconic event venues will enable the use of cutting-edge audiovisual technologies, stage engineering, lighting systems, and advanced safety systems.
If all goes according to plan, the newly revamped Congress Hall could reopen as early as 2026.
